Concert review: Old Crow Medicine Show at The Orange Peel

On Oct. 29, one night after Big Boi got The Orange Peel’s 20th anniversary festivities started, Americana stalwarts Old Crow Medicine Show closed out the celebratory weekend with a pair of superb sets, the second of which saw them don elaborate Halloween costumes.

Other highlights included a performance of “Great Balls of Fire” to honor the late Jerry Lee Lewis, who passed away the previous day. Overall, it was a terrific evening and a truly wonderful 20th birthday party for The Peel.
