Why we started Asheville Stages

We are Bruce C. Steele and Edwin Arnaudin, founders of AshevilleStages.com. This site began as a subsection of its sister site, AshevilleMovies.com, when we realized that reviews of local live shows, both theater and music, were scarce and often unprofessional. Our goal is to publish entertaining, constructive, informed, and well-written critiques of performances on stages in the Asheville area, as well as interviews and other features related to those shows.
